The Industrial Hygiene Division is comprised of three laboratories providing services in the Power, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Construction, Mining, Manufacturing, and Pharmaceutical sectors.

Position Overview:

The Technical Account Manager reports to the Director of Emerging Markets and will have responsibility for assisting with the design and implementation of the business development strategy and tactical execution for the Industrial Hygiene Division. This role will be focused on the Life Sciences market but will also include cross-selling into chemical manufacturing, asbestos, and legal consulting lines.

Major Responsibilities:

§ Working with the Director to design and execute multi-channel marketing and sales strategies

§ Targeting prospective clients representing highest potential and sustainable revenue

§ Accountable for profitable sales to new and existing accounts

§ Retaining and growing the key account business and customer portfolio.

§ Identify and acquiring new key customers.

§ Maintaining consistent customer contact through in-person, video conference, phone and social media channels

§ Developing, fostering and leveraging a network of Industrial Hygiene community contacts, including participation in relevant industry associations.

§ Monitoring and reporting on competitive activity and intelligence to ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated.

§ Preparing responses to and ownership of significant RFQ's, RFP's, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, Statements of Work and Master Service Agreements. Conducts follow-up as required.

§ Utilizing CRM software and preparing reports, as may be required, by division management and administrative personnel and/or company policy.

Quantitative criteria for performance evaluation (KPI):

§ Tactical execution of strategic initiatives

§ Achievement of year over year revenue and growth targets

§ Identification and acquisition of new customers

§ Execution to leading indicator sales metrics

§ High level achievement in Social Selling Index (SSI)

§ Profitability of projects won

Minimum Educational and Skill Requirements:

§ Creative thinker with a thirst to design and execute multi-channel marketing and sales strategies

§ Intrinsically motivated with the ability to work semi-autonomously

§ Collaborative, engaging and supportive team player

§ Working knowledge of digital marketing, digital influence and social medial platforms

§ Optimistic and constructive attitude with a desire for personal and professional growth

§ Comfortable with CRM and lead generation platforms.

§ B.A. or B.S. in a related field to Industrial Hygiene. Graduate level / Higher vocational education in engineering or Business Administration is preferable

§ 10 years' job-related experience of which 3 or more years selling to IH market decision makers

§ Knowledge of the Industrial Hygiene industry

§ Good English and local language skills

§ Presentation and basic PC skills

§ Ability to travel 50 - 70% of the time
