Role Summary

The Digital Product Manager is a key member of the Nexus Controls, a Baker Hughes Business, Product Management and Marketing team. Nexus Controls provides safe and reliable solutions, delivering value through transformational insights to our customers who operate in diverse industries.

Responsibilities

The Digital Product Manager will be responsible for:
  • Collaborating with internal Baker Hughes resource across all business, as well as external partners to develop a comprehensive digital strategy aimed at delivering a targeted roadmap at providing our customers with a distinct advantage.
  • Lead the Nexus Controls Digital Council that is made up of representatives from other Baker Hughes business and the Energy Innovation Center to improve collaboration and strengthen the Baker Hughes portfolio while improving transparency.
  • Foster a digital culture at all levels of the of the Nexus Controls organization.
  • Develop additional internal and external funding sources to accelerate the digital portfolio expansion
  • Develop a network of industry experts across all markets that have a vesting interest in helping the Nexus Controls team deliver on our digital mission and vision.
  • Foster a lean culture within the digital development teams. Deliver product expansion through scrum teams and sprints in order to create incremental customer validated solutions.


Required Qualifications
  • 5 years minimum experience establishing and executing Digital related strategies within industrial, Oil & Gas or Power markets
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or Engineering
  • 5 years minimum of experience working on Operational Technology (OT) products
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience leading matrixed team developing New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
  • Strategic, critical thinking and analytical skills for structured problem-solving
  • Ability to handle ambiguity in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering a clear argument to gain support for recommended changes
  • Established history of collaborating with various internal and external constituencies
  • Demonstrated Growth mindset


Desired Characteristics
  • 5 years minimum Digital Product Line Management experience
  • 2 years minimum of technical or project management experience
  • Strong agent of change with focus on executing efficiently in a complex, diverse and dynamic cross-functional global matrix organization
  • E xperience developing a product line
  • Capable contemporary leader with extensive team-working abilities
  • Strong business acumen

The pay range for this role will be: $136K - 170K USD

You will be eligible to participate in the Baker Hughes Fullstream Short-term incentive program applicable for the above position. The actual payout for your short-term incentive award will be based on company and individual performance and is contingent upon Baker Hughes achieving pre-determined financial results.

You will be eligible to participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs, including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k). You will have a choice of coverage options that best suit your needs. Coverage options and contribution amounts are related to your benefit elections, base salary level and specific requirements of each of these plans.
