Key Responsibilities include:

To lead a Commissioning Team in the delivery of assigned commissioning

projects in a safe and effective manner, in line with commissioning standards.

Key Responsibilities

_ Deputise for Commissioning Manager.

_ Authorisation of specified documentation.

_ Confirmation of SQEP status and required training for team members.

_ Input into production of test documents, schedules, plans and cost


_ Identification of resource requirements.

_ Workload prioritisation.

_ Ensure Team Members fully understand their responsibilities.

_ Delivering the commissioning work scope to an agreed strategy and plan

in a timely and cost effective manner.

_ Ensuring a proactive and balanced approach to safety (Nuclear,

radiological, conventional and environmental).

_ Reviewing commissioning progress and performance and taking

appropriate corrective actions.

_ Planning, balancing and prioritizing commissioning resources to support

successful project delivery.

_ Managing day to day liaison with personnel to obtain any necessary

permissions and minimize impacts.

Key Accountabilities

_ Promote a positive health and safety culture.

_ Strive to improve project delivery performance.

_ Ensure that the commissioning resources utilised are SQEPs and are

managed cost effectively.

_ Support the Commissioning Manager with delivery.

_ Leading and coaching the team to maximise their efficiency and


_ Reporting commissioning progress accurately.

_ Ensure the commissioning activities are performed in accordance with the

approved testing and commissioning programme.

_ Ensuring testing and commissioning demonstrates the installed systems

meet functional configuration and performance requirements.

_ Ensuring shared best practice and commissioning methods and

procedures are employed.

_ Appointment of commissioning team members.

_ Assessment of commissioning team member's competence
