**THIS POSITION IS CONSIDERED TO BE REMOTE / OFFSHORE**

The Party Chief provides general leadership to his team counting con his/her high level of expertise, latitude, and creativity. The selected candidate will guarantee that all field activities are carried out with efficiency to ensure high quality results that meet client's requirements and company's safety procedures and policies.

 

Duties:

  • Guarantee AUV Computer System set up and maintenance.
  • Ensure safety of both personnel and equipment
  • Generate daily reports and QC of data quality.
  • Manage crew members, project managers onboard vessel, and clients to ensure good quality communication.
  • Carry out field investigation with required documentation, notes, data collection and follow up.
  • Carry out training on OII, DOTD and/or other required skills.
  • Guarantee all processes are carried out under safety policy compliance.
  • Drive Safety tailgate meetings and jobs safety analysis.
  • Supervise the mobility, operation and user level maintenance of sensors and Geophysical equipment.
  • Supervise Geophysical sensors and equipment's positioning limited to:

Coring equipment, winches, single beam echo sounders, side scan sonar, sub-bottom profilers, DGPS, GPS, USBL and more.

Guarantee the recording and follow up of survey logs, data collection and entries.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-year Technical Degree in related field or equivalent
  • +3 years' experience as Hydrographic Survey Technician or related positions
  • Knowledge of basic computer software, major survey equipment manufacturer's software and data collector
  • Demonstrated proficiency in field concepts and technicities such as: Side Scan Sonars, GPS, Multibeam, Magnetometer Systems and Multibeam.
  • Must be able to obtain TWIC card.
  • Experience in supervisory position is desired.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance is preferred
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
