Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently interested in hearing from a mix of trades personnel with experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry. Trades will include Riggers, Pipefitters, Platers, Electrical Techs, Mechanical Techs, Production Techs, Instrument Techs and various other non trade roles such as supervision.
The preference for these roles is for people to live in a commutable distance of Barrow In Furness however we will look at personnel who have the correct experience and who may commit to moving to the area or short lerm lodging dependent on the duration of the roles.

Skills / Qualifications
All positions will require the candidates to hold Trade Qualifications for their specific trade e.g Apprenticeship or Vocational Qualification in their given field.
The following positions will also require the additional training:
Electrical Technician - CompEX Unit 01-04
Instrument Technician - CompEX Unit 01-04 and Small Bore Tubing
Pipefitters - MJI10 (preferred)
Riggers - OPITO Stage 3 Rigging Assessment or NVQ3/SCQF7 obtained within the past 2 years
