Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Consultant to be based in Chennai. The resource will be part of the Digital & Technology team and help support the development and configuration using Microsoft Dynamics. Key accountabilities and responsibilities include:

  • Minimum 3 years Microsoft Dynamics CRM consultancy experience
  • Manages the requirements gathering process by meeting with stakeholders to define and capture the business and functional requirements and system goals and bring these in line with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Clearly articulates and presents ideas and solutions in line with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft low/no code technology stack
  • Designs, develops, tests and delivers solutions using Microsoft low/no code technology stack and leverages it to create powerful solutions using Dynamics 365, PowerApps, Power BI, Common Data Services, Azure, and Office 365 in fast paced Agile environment
  • Continually seeks a "fit for purpose" approach to identify the Minimum Viable Product that meets the key requirements and will deliver the required business value
  • Works according to an agile methodology, plans projects in sprints and organise requirements using Epics, Features and User Stories
  • Continually develops knowledge of new functionality in the Microsoft platforms, keeps on top of roadmaps, being ahead of the curve in regards to what the future holds and how it can benefit our clients
  • Facilitates workshops, gathers and documents requirements, translates requirements into business processes, engages with stakeholders and presents solutions

Skills / Qualifications

Knowledge, skills and experience include:
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of core Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules, Microsoft low/no code technology stack including, PowerApps, Power BI, Common Data Services, Azure, and Office 365
  • Broad understanding of Dynamics 365 modules and out-of-the-box functionality and limits
  • Working experience with Field Services and Operations modules
  • Experience of working on full life cycle solution implementations with broad awareness and understanding of software and technology infrastructure including web applications, databases, understanding of system integration, web services and networks
  • Working experience in integrating Dynamics solutions with other Business applications and systems
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present ideas and solutions in line with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Organised and methodical, ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively
  • Flexible, visionary, yet pragmatic and with the ability to pay attention to detail and engage with stakeholders at every level
  • Ability to translate business and customer needs into a great digital customer experience
  • Ability to create high quality functional documentation and strong requirements gathering
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent problem solving skills
