As a HSE Specialist, you will be responsible for:
To monitor and distribute governmental regulations and codes to ensure site compliance with local HSE requirements.
Maintain HSE Management System (including ISO14001 and BH HSE framework) and coordinate all the functions to keep the system continually improving.
Plan and implement internal HSE system audit to ensure the operation compliance with the company and China government legal requirements.
Provide support for deployment of HSE programs and procedures to ensure compliance.
To develop and facilitate site specific HSE related trainings, such as new employee orientation training, environment & safety & IH training, special equipment operator training, visitors training etc.
Work with government or relevant agencies to conduct monitoring and measurement as per legal or corporate requirements.
Responsible for accident reporting, investigation and corrective action follow up the corrective and preventive actions and ensure effective closure.
Lead the HSE risk identification and assessment process.
Daily IH management including occupational health archive management, preparing and arrange occupational health medical check per the plan.
Conduct the routine HSE inspection and corrective action follow up.
Communicate with government agencies and handle relevant cases.
HSE culture promotion and organized HSE engagement activities.
Take the element owner role for chemicals and waste management.
Provide support for ISO14001 deployment in site.
Management of Change - To perform HSE reviews including fire equipment design, layout, equipment installation and any other project requiring HSE involvement.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's degree in health and safety, environmental science, or other relevant field
Have several years of HSE experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment
Have full professional proficiency in English, being able to effectively interact with site management and field operations personnel
Have thorough understanding of safety and environmental regulations and regulatory process
Be able to research, analyze, interpret and implement HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
Have experience in HSE management systems and auditing and root cause investigation techniques
Have excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, team building and influencing skills
