This position will be based at the Fort Myers Power Plant located in Fort Myers, Florida and will report toaRegional Plant General Manager. This position will be responsible for driving best in class safety and environmental performance, managing all aspects of operations and maintenance to maximize plant reliability, and for the development of high performance teams to support 24/7 operation.Thisposition is a developmental role for future growth opportunities within our Power Generation Division Operations Team. Upondetermination, timingand under general direction, this individual shall be able to manage all aspects of site business and operations in order to achieve all production and business targets while maintaining an injury-free work site. Power plant or industrial plant experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience in power plant or industrial plant operations, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent.
Leaders in this role oversee a team at a generation facility. Individuals are accountable for all aspects of the management and performance of both the physical and human assets in their assigned facility.Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides leadership in all aspects of operation and maintenance
- Manages the technical performance of the plant
- Develops and manages site budget
- Leads the safety of the facility and personnel
- Complies with all regulations and policies
- Oversees personnel development and succession planning
- Drives the continuous improvement of performance
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Preferred QualificationsEmployee Group:
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 7+ years
- Supervisor/Management Experience: 5+ years
