As a Petrochemical Business Development Manager, you'll be involved in planning and development for the overall sales strategy of your area. In a high-impact, fast-paced environment you'll work with exclusive product lines. As a trusted leader, you'll deliver successful outcomes for customers through innovation, strategic solutions, good relationships and thorough business understanding.

As a Petrochemical Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing process and water sales strategies for the chemicals district to grow and identify sales opportunities
  • Identifying key process and water sales targets within your market to develop sales plans and deliver new business
  • Partnering with a team of chemicals sales representatives to drive growth in your assigned region
  • Building relationships with key customers through value-selling and entertainment
  • Engaging and communicating with key stake-holders at customer facilities to cultivate current and new business
  • Managing Sales and Service Standards at multiple key customer accounts to ensure compliance


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Demonstrate solid petrochemical treatment service experience
  • Show expertise in petrochemical treatment and water sales processes
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for building trusted relationships and show an understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditions
  • Be a good team player and have experience of working in safe, laboratory environment
  • Be able to travel internationally to customer sites (up to 25% travel required)
