As a Human Capital and Technology HR Leader, you will be responsible for:
  • Advising management on labor & employment law, regulatory issues, and risk management. Regularly advises and inform management in the Human Resources function and/or in the business of employment and labor trends or significant changes.
  • Working with cross-functional teams in the HR function and business to implement and maintain positive proactive, working environment.
  • Communicating with HR colleagues and business leaders about change of policy and implementation.
  • Leading complex and multidisciplinary projects realizing major positive changes in the organization.
  • Providing strategic and tactical guidance to the different business unites
  • Providing Employee & labor relations prospective for Benefits & Policy Development
  • Developing positive working relationships with labor union leadership. Ensure compliance with the National Labor Relations Act and other applicable laws.
  • Developing and delivering training to People leaders, employees and HR community.
  • Performing as a highly competent functional Subject Matter Expert.
  • Organizing knowledge sharing to convey information about new approaches and best practices.
  • Challenge, rethink and redesign HR operational practices as needed to identify areas of improvement. Identify and implement new policies / processes / procedures to improve HR Function Support services and delivery
  • Drive adoption of standard practices and consistent ways of working to achieve operational excellence
  • Lead change culture in the Region to create an innovative forward thinking organization
  • People management (lead and motivate), cascading strategy and vision, control of daily workload and performance achievement whilst developing and coaching the team in alignment with BH values and expectations
  • Work collaboratively and align with BHs regional service delivery centre leads for all regions
  • Developing and implementing Employee Relations Department's philosophy, guiding principles and proactive risk assessment tools across the entire enterprise.
  • Overseeing and managing labor relations programs, collective agreements, policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have proven experience in delivering HR / Labour relations to a large and complex employee base including Union / Works Council negotiations (across multiple countries)
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of core HR processes, HR management practices, Labour relations and knowledge of developments and trends within HR services and management
  • Have the ability to leverage HR productivity tools, systems and applications to drive operational efficiency
  • Show cogent analytical and decision-making capabilities
  • Be a problem solver and influencer who is able to consult with stakeholders to help them find lasting solutions to persistent and urgent issues
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead and manage large and diverse teams
  • Have great interpersonal, communication skills, be self-motivated and results driven. Keenly aware of customer requirements
  • Demonstrate leadership and business intelligence
  • Have strong organizational, time management and planning skills
  • Pursues learning and self-development
  • Be fluent in English (spoken and written)
