Job Description

1. Evaluation of reservoir lithology and petrophysical parameters based on well logging data: reservoir thickness, porosity, permeability, oil and gas saturation.
2. Participates in the discussion of field geophysical work
3.Provides obtaining reliable geophysical data and other information.
4. Controls compliance with the technology of geophysical work and the rules for the operation of technical equipment.
5. Participates in testing and mastering new geophysical equipment, introducing more advanced methods of work and processing geophysical data.
6. Ensures and controls compliance with the current methodological regulations, instructions and requirements for the production of geophysical works.
7. Ensures compliance with legislation in the field of geological exploration of subsoil, subsoil use, protection of subsoil and the environment, labor protection rules, fire protection in geophysical work.
8. Supervises the work of the performers engaged in geophysical works.
9. Attends mandatory production meetings; special meetings on industrial safety and constantly maintains a safe operating environment for company property and equipment.
10. Participation in preparation for tenders (preparation of presentations, business correspondence, etc.).
11. Other duties assigned by the line manager within the time allotted, provided that they are reasonable, meet the requirements of effective business conduct, meet occupational safety standards, and the employee is competent enough to fulfill them.


For the proper performance of a petrophysicist, at least 3 years of work experience is required in positions related to the interpretation of geophysical studies in oil and gas wells in organizations corresponding to the profile of the company.
