As a Civil/Track EIT on our team in Boston, MA, you'll have the opportunity to assist Engineers by performing the routine aspects of civil engineering assignments, subsequently providing familiarity with the programs, staff, and operating procedures of the company. The Civil/Track EIT will work on a variety of projects pertaining to transportation.

We'll ask you to draw from your past internship experience to perform civil design calculations, coordinate project assignments with those of other engineers and review drawings supplied by contractors, clients and engineers. As a team member supporting various large-scale projects, you'll research code issues and design options and document findings, along with attend design review meetings.

We'll ask you to review drawings supplied by constrictors, clients, and engineers and then recommends necessary changes. Using your recent engineering degree, you'll research code issues and work with City, State, and County officials as well as research design options and documents findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required
  • At least one previous summer design internship on transportation projects is required
  • Experience using Word, Excel, CADD and Microstation

Ideally, here's what you'll also have:
  • EIT certificate is preferred
  • One previous summer internship experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation is preferred
