Overview / Responsibilities

Wood has an immediate requirement for an experienced Subsea Inspection Coordinator. The role is to provide subsea inspection support services for a NDT jacket inspection for jackets in the Bass Strait. The position is based out of Perth and reports to Wood's Inspection Coordinator.

We are seeking experienced inspectors with CSWIP 3.4U qualifications for a back to back assignment as inspection coordinator to assist with inspection, scope and NEXUS IC database management and reporting. Experience with subsea jacket inspection and knowledge on subsea NDT techniques is mandatory along with proficiency in NEXUS IC software.

This is a short term assignment with immediate start.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities of the role
  • High attention to detail and be proficient in report writing
  • Experienced user of NEXUS IC software, computer-based data management
  • Ensure inspection work is executed in line with the agreed scope of work and quality data is recorded accurately

Please note that this role is open to Australian citizens or those who currently hold Permanent Residency (PR) visa to work lawfully in Australia without visa sponsorship from Wood.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience conducting inspection campaigns of either subsea components or onshore equipment
  • Must hold CSWIP 3.4U
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NEXUS IC software
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • A strong commitment to safety
