ENGIE are recruiting for a Site Supervisor /Lead Electrician to be based in London, EC2V 1AG. This is a permanent, full time role, working 37.5 hours a week. On offer is a competitive salary and company benefits package.

The Site Supervisor/Lead Electrician will provide supervisory support to the Technical Services Manager. They will work as part of the team assigned to deliver 'hard' services and technical compliance and expertise as part the 'full repairing lease' agreement for Grant Thornton (London).

The Site Supervisor/Lead Electrician will perform planned maintenance (PPM) routines and reactive repairs on a wide range of electrical installations, mechanical assets and building systems. Reactive tasks will include (but are not exhaustive to) electrical repairs, testing and installation, mechanical / building services maintenance & repairs, water management, plumbing systems, lighting repairs and bulb replacement, fabric, sub-contractor management, access and support during site visits, support to insurance inspections, control of documentation, support to the Compliance Team Leader and the overseeing of team adherence to SHEQ controls including 'no life at risk', modular e-learning and team attendance at weekly meetings.

About you:
  • Relevant electrical City and Guilds qualifications to at least GNVQ/GSVQ level II.
  • 17th Edition IEE Regs.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical aspects of plant, systems and equipment.
  • Relevant experience within a similar role.
  • Ability to use hand tools, associated trade tools, equipment and machinery for maintenance, repair and minor improvement/new work to required standard.
  • IT literate and able to record information accurately, legibly & expediently.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people Be able to manage work and customer relationships
  • IT literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience of working in the service environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to either work as a conscientious team player or work unsupervised
  • Excellent electrical knowledge / background with awareness of the latest Edition IEE Regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of HVAC plant and control applications
  • Good awareness of health and safety regulations
