ENGIE are recruiting for a Head of Mobilisation to be home based, with national scope and travel. This is a permanent, full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The Head of Mobilisation (HoM) is responsible for the continual development of the Divisional Mobilisation & Transition Framework, and the deployment and leadership of resources to manage mobilisation and transition programmes

The HoM will work closely with the Sector MDs and their Senior Management Teams, their peer support functions, and the wider UKBU to ensure a common and consistent experience across the business. They will engage with a broad range of internal colleagues, including the Operational Executive Board and their Account Director teams, and with external Clients and third parties. They will play a key role in the achievement both of our work-winning and operational success targets.

What is your day to day?

  • Ownership of the Divisional Mobilisation & Transition Framework, and its regular development to reflect operational requirements, market developments, and business experience.
  • Leadership of the team of Mobilisation Managers, including resource planning against the work-winning team's forecasts, deploying them to programmes as they are initiated and providing oversight of their performance and associated development.
  • Production of Mobilisation & Transition content for work-winning activity, including all written and graphical content for bids, and the professional and compelling presentation of it to potential clients.
  • Close partnership with the senior Operational community to ensure that their requirements are reflected in M&T activity, and in-turn that they understand their obligations to support the M&T team.
  • Robust engagement with key business support teams (HR, CAFM, IT, SHEQ, Technical, Assets, etc) to ensure that their requirements are reflected in M&T activity, and in-turn that they understand their obligations to support the M&T team. Includes chairing the monthly mobilisation lookahead.
  • Delivery of mobilisation and transition activity in year, as determined by your resource planning and demand

Who are you?
  • Leadership of facilities management mobilisation and transition programmes
  • Highly experienced leadership capabilities, particularly of senior and virtual teams
  • Advanced competence on MS Project, and capable of developing highly complex project plans
  • Significant awareness of hard and soft facilities management and workplace operations
  • Awareness of CAFM systems, and associated asset management processes
  • Highly professional presentation skills, demonstrating gravitas and authority
