Job Description
ENGIE Impact is looking for an innovative, process-oriented, and highly collaborative Operations Manager to join our fast-growing Sustainability Solutions Americas organization. In this role, you'll report to our Vice President of Strategy and Operations and support our strategy consulting team.

As Operations Manager, you'll work on a broad range of projects and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders at ENGIE Impact as well as the broader ENGIE Group. No two days will be the same.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented critical thinker who continually seeks to improve operational systems, processes, and policies. They are hyper-organized, comfortable working on a variety of workstreams, and can communicate their insights with precision. They'll be supporting a diverse team who has high standards - gaining alignment will be critical.

Responsibilities
  • Help develop strategy and processes to effectively scale a fast-growing global organization
  • Manage day-to-day execution of various short-term and long-term projects
  • Develop operational dashboard to track and measure key performance metrics; communicate organizational performance against key initiatives
  • Support development of annual budget as well as five-year forecast
  • Effectively facilitate resource staffing assignments using our workforce planning system
  • Analyze resource utilization and provide recommendations on talent needs
  • Track engagement finances and identify ways to improve project profitability
  • Act as primary administrator for our knowledge management system
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Human Resources, IT, Marketing, and Business Development
  • Gather content for weekly operations bulletins that are distributed to the Americas team
  • Prepare compelling decks and supporting materials for monthly Executive Committee meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other meetings on an as-needed basis
  • Identify training gaps and help developing onboarding and training curriculum
  • Support global coordination with EMEAI and APAC, which will sometimes require early morning or evening hours


Requirements
  • BA/BS from a top-tier school and an outstanding record of achievement; MBA preferred
  • At least three years of relevant experience plus an MBA or at least five years of project management, program management, or operations experience; consulting firm experience (either in operations or in client delivery) preferred
  • Track record supporting the implementation of tools and systems
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting process
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to turn complex projects into actionable plans
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial passion with ability to manage growing pains inherent in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Comfortable navigating a large company as well as working across a variety of functional areas
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Salesforce, SAP, and Coupa is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously, as needed
  • Passionate about sustainability
  • Some global business experience is preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%
