ENGIE are recruiting an experienced Programme Test Manager to take the Testing Lead for the entire scope of their ERP Programme.

You will be working on a business led transformation programme, delivering a single new UK ERP platform, to simplify and digitalise business processes and to leverage business improvements as a consequence.

This individual will significantly influence the testing design and deliver the agreed project testing strategy and approach for the entire scope of the ERP Programme. Through management of the test leads and the matrix-based relationships they will forge, they will ensure that the applications and business user stories are fully tested and meet the expected exit criteria.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Influences and contributes to programme status reporting, updates the project risks & issues log, and owns the delivery of all detailed test strategy / planning and tracking against delivery
  • Own the definition for all success criteria for testing and work with stakeholder to delivery to that quality
  • Manage the deliverables of the Technical Test Lead who is responsible for the unit testing and system integration testing (SIT) for any associated legacy systems
  • Manage the deliverables of the workstreams' test leads who will be responsible for the creation of user stories and business process scenarios, including the transition into BAU
  • Own and manage the regression testing of any software version upgrades necessary during the course of the Programme
  • Delivers a regression test pack / legacy for ongoing use in business for major change and version upgrades

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Essential:
  • Multiple program in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Implementations and/or SAP Business Suite on HANA with proven delivery of the test function.
  • Extensive experience of industry/consulting test management experience within several different SAP Implementations.
  • Hands-on full life cycle SAP program level testing experience.
  • Broad understanding of SAP processes including Finance, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report and SAP HR (ideally SuccessFactors)
  • Good understanding of SAP S4/HANA Digital Core modules testing, ACTIVE/ASAP Methodology & SAP Solution Manager
  • Proven experience in delivering UAT/cutover plans on a range of SAP programs. Has been the primary single point of contact while execution SAP cut-overs.
  • Experience of multiple ERP programme delivery to a diverse organisation across multiple disciplines
  • Experience of reporting against multiple deliveries at programme level
  • Demonstrable experience of testing ERP applications and complex integrations
  • Proven experience and track record of managing multiple outsourced third-party partners and associated activities in relation to an extensive and complex ERP environment
  • Appropriate testing qualifications or certification
  • Strong knowledge of testing and software development methodologies, and proficient use of tools
  • Excellent high-level knowledge of delivering ERP and SAP solutions
  • Ability to manage a series of highly complex, competing and interdependent testing demands across multiple programme phases for a sustained period in collaboration with a numerous and diverse set of business stakeholders and 3rd party providers

  • Experience in a similar industry
