You will have the chance to perform a variety of municipal drinking water and wastewater treatment and potable reuse engineering work in the initial planning and design phase of projects. Working with other members of our team, you'll work on projects evaluating and selecting the best treatment approach to solve a client's challenges and planning and designing treatment systems and plant improvements. As part of our team, you will also have the opportunity to work with treatment processes that may include coagulation, rapid mix, flocculation, sedimentation, secondary biological treatment, granular media filtration, biological filtration, membrane filtration, disinfection (ozone, UV, free chlorine, chloramine), post-filter adsorption, and other treatment processes.

Qualifications:

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited program
  • Must be at least a rising Junior
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs


Ideally, you'll also have:
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • A previous internship related to your field of study
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills
