b. Report to Senior Drilling Engineer on regular basis on the progress of operation and agree on any corrective action if necessary.
c. Ensure that drilling and completion operations are carried out safely, according to good oilfield practice and in accordance with the programs and all relevant Company standards and HSEQ procedures.
d. Assist the Senior Drilling Engineer to ensure the timely arrival of drilling and workover equipment, contractor personnel and services are available at the rig site when required to avoid delay in operations.
e. Assist the Senior Drilling Engineer in monitoring material consumption and stock availability at the rig site and warehouse.
f. Provide assistance to all colleagues where new drilling and work-over projects are being considered to ensure that accurate cost and time estimates are made.
g. Liaise effectively with all third parties, local authorities and citizens and other departments as applicable for the best interest of Company - operations.
h. Prepare the required documents related to all tender activities providing material and services for the planned Company activities, perform technical and commercial tender evaluation and provide explanation and justification in all tender related matters.
3. Work Contacts
Routine contact with the Senior Drilling Engineer.
Regular contacts at own level within the Department for work coordination and with other departments.
Regular contacts with consultants / contractors to direct, monitor and follow up to ensure that equipments are ordered and delivered to specification in an appropriate time frame for the ongoing operations, in the most cost effective manner.

Provides work direction to Assistant Field Mechanical Engineer (1).

Carries out duties in accordance with specialized and professional standards and approved program. Work is subject to general review.

Travelling offshore if required.
