Job Description

This job role will conduct the detailed distributive ship piping systems design, 3D models, diagrams and equipment arrangements for ship modification and construction according to standard and regulatory requirements.

Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:

  • Producing free form surface design models or drawings from concepts, photographs or functional requirements.
  • Guarantee excellent teamwork and good communication between naval architects and engineers to produce detailed ship design products with high quality to meet client expectations


  • Associates Degree or 2 Years of relevant experience
  • 3+ Years of experience in detailed ship design, drawings and other finished design products distributive ship piping systems
  • Proficiency in AUTOCAD 2014 or later is required.
  • Proficiency in 3-D modeling is required.
  • ShipConstructor knowledge is preferred
  • Knowledge of standards and regulatory body requirements is a plus.
  • Experience and proficiency in drafting methods, techniques and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • U.S. Citizenship. • Must be Eligible to Obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
