Our client, a large oil and gas company, is currently seeking an IT QA Analyst for a 1-year contract in Calgary, AB.



- Work on cutting edge innovation projects using cloud native technologies, advanced analytics, AI & Machine Learning

- Identify and implement standardized approaches/mechanisms for test automation where appropriate

- Prepare Test Strategy, Plan, Scenarios, Cases for assigned projects. Build standards for the team and help to build a culture of quality.

- Identify input test data, security roles and other information by working with technical team and business users.

- Translate business requirements to test cases and update Requirement Traceability Matrix to ensure comprehensive testing coverage

- Execute /Coordinate functional, system integration and end to end test cases. Work with QA environments, test data, and security access related issues during test cycles

- Identify, create, review, prioritize and monitor defects throughout the defect lifecycle. Assist in the preparation of various test planning, execution and defect reports

- Work with business users to support User Acceptance Testing activities

- Provide leadership to other QA professionals


- History of enterprise QA delivery in a lead role
- Able to have fun while working

- Agile delivery
- Azure DevOps experience
- ITIL Process knowledge
