Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a
Deputy Project Manager with extensive experience in the facility operation and maintenance industry to join our team in Columbus, GA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensures federal, state, local and corporate policy and regulatory compliance
- Enforce safety standards to achieve a safety culture where no accidents occur
- Ensures that all work performed on behalf of the company meets the highest quality
- Manages, performs, and oversees contract specific maintenance activities ensuring on-time delivery of services utilizing both employee labor and subcontractors
- Coordinates with client to ensure acceptable level of impact to production while performing maintenance and repair activities
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Evaluates schedules to deconflict work assignments where there are task and resource conflicts
- Prepares reports documenting operations and maintenance performance
- Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance for the all work including responding to urgent and emergency situations
- Identifies the need for vendors and subcontractors and coordinates requirements
- Ensures that Subcontractors perform work in accordance with the subcontract
- Must read and completely understand the contract under which the company will be operating and be able to make decisions that ensure contract compliance
- Use CMMS to track work requirements
Skills / Qualifications Minimum Requirements :
- Facilities Management related technical degree or equivalent certification or licensing
- 10 years experience with responsible oversight of maintenance and operation of large multiple facilities with highly complex mechanical, electrical and structural requirements
- Experienced and able to demonstrate use of Microsoft office suite applications including; Word, PowerPoint and Excel
