Key Responsibilities include:
We are looking for a Welding Engineer to be responsible for managing welding projects and supervising the welding team. The responsibilities of a Welding Engineer include providing consulting services, coordinating multiple projects, and overseeing the welding procedure.
To be successful as a Welding Engineer, you should be computer literate, possess an understanding of mechanical and structural components, and possess good team working skills. Ultimately, a top-notch Welding Engineer should have superior proficiency in welding, good organizational skills, and possess a safety-orientated mindset.
1.1.1 Welding Engineer Responsibilities:
• Leading welding projects.
• Analyzing engineering designs for welding requirements.
• Overseeing a team of Welders.
• Reviewing welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
• Managing welding procedure qualifications and generating welding procedures to help the manufacturing and welding teams.
• Conducting failure analyses and cause analyses on welding issues.
1.1.2 Welding Engineer Requirements:
• Degree in Welding Engineering or related field.
• Previous experience in Welding Engineering.
• Licensed Engineer.
• Solid leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Computer literate.

2. Related Qualifications i.e. IWE / EWE, CSWIP, RWC etc (Degree Level or equivalent)
3. Multi-discipline awareness
4. Ability to effectively plan and schedule using appropriate computer skills
5. Having knowledge of continuing industry developments and innovations

7. An enthusiasm for your discipline and up-to-date sector knowledge
8. Planning and organisational skills, such as time and resource allocation
9. Ability to plan own work schedule
