Senior Static Mechanical Engineer-Den Haag, Netherlands

My client is a global organisation that have been running a successful engineering business for over 100 years. After starting as a one-man engineering company, they have massively evolved with over 25 disciplined.

As my client is constantly expanding, they are looking a Senior Static Mechanical engineer to join their team in The Hague - Netherlands on a 4-month renewable contract.

Senior static Mechanical Engineer must have experience in engineering of Mechanical Static equipment, ranging from heat exchangers, vessels, tanks, reactors to columns, flare stack. Preparation of work packages/ descriptions for modifications to existing equipment is a pre.

Main task will be preparation requisition, evaluation, and vendor print review for static equipment. This involve coordination with other department and client.

Experience requirements:

Must have a significant experience in engineering business in petro chemical & refineries industry.
Rerate of static equipment,
Preparation of equipment datasheets,
Preparation of specifications and equipment requisitions
Evaluation of vendor bids,
Involvement in technical clarifications with vendors,
Review of vendor documents.

The candidate must also have experience in:

Furnace experience, fired heaters
German code design and AD
VES calculation programs
Dutch, German, English language (Verbal and Writing)
Microsoft tool.
