Job Title

Senior Power Systems Engineer




The Sr. Power systems Engineer will oversee system design, preparation and submittals to clients for ship's power distribution systems. This job role will also guide the junior level engineers on staff.



  • Capacity to create and inspect load centers, shore power panels, switchboards and other power related designs.
  • Establish an electrical one line for the whole vessel based on end user requests.
  • Must work with numerous suppliers to get load data for the vessel's wide electrical one line.
  • Perform electric plant load analysis (EPLA)


  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from university or college (Master's level or higher preferred)
  • Must have experience with Low and medium voltage solutions
  • Must be familiar with Regulatory bodies: USCG, ABS, NEC, DNV, and others.
  • Experience with Power modeling tools like PTW (Power Tools for Windows)
  • Must have experience with Simulink/Matlab
  • Must be proficient in AutoCad
  • Must have +8 years of Power systems experience Key (shipboard preferred)
