Baker Hughes is currently hiring a Quality Assurance Lead to work with Engineering, Product Development, QA and Customer Services to refine existing quality processes and develop new product testing and quality processes as needed for emerging products.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure test processes for new applications and features are designed into the product development process.
  • Design and develop additional automated test suites for new Baker Hughes products and features.
  • Design and run performance, scalability and reliability tests for configured customer applications and new releases of Baker Hughes products.
  • Perform analysis to identify root cause for any defects identified during the release validation process.
  • Become a Baker Hughes AI Suite and Baker Hughes SaaS application expert to thoroughly understand and develop all required test case scenarios.
  • Work with fellow team members to interpret test results, diagnose bugs/defects, document results and formulate solutions
  • Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional and regression test cases


Work Experience

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) field; graduate degree in STEM
  • Professional software development experience with JavaScript, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Proficiency in time-series data analysis and normalization
  • Working knowledge of Agile software development methodology
  • Outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) field; graduate degree in STEM
  • Hands-on software development and troubleshooting experience with JavaScript and Java
  • Experience in UI and API test automation
  • Experience building and deploying enterprise applications
  • Strong understanding of common machine learning techniques, Python programming and quality assurance methodologies
  • Build and release management experience
