You have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in environmental, engineering, sustainability, or science and ideally a professional registration as PE. You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and have a high technical proficiency in developing and managing sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programs. You are skilled in leading sustainability programs and initiatives.
You have a solid reputation in your business working relentlessly to identify, evaluate, and design ESG performance strategies and execution plans.What we are looking forYou possess the following:
Developing and managing sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programs, in addition to related strategies and policies
Assessing and managing ESG risks and opportunities
Producing ESG disclosures and other communications aligned with business frameworks
Designing ESG performance targets, accompanying strategies and execution plans
Developing company life cycle inventories for energy, GHG, water, waste, and other resources
Identifying and evaluating opportunities to achieve energy, GHG, and resource reductions
Researching leading sustainability programs and initiatives
The ability to communicate key information to relevant bpx teams.
Participate in and collaborate with various individuals, workgroups and functions within bp on ESG.
A strong business and environmental public policy background to be able to understand impacts, technologies, and sustainability data.
