Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is one of the top ranked international design and construction firms by ENR magazine. We are currently seeking an EVMS Specialist to support the successful growth regions construction division performing large construction projects. This position will provide management and direction for planning and implementation of an ANSI/EIA 748 compliant EVM system. Primary duties will be the subject matter expert for Ares Prism, program EVMS execution and compliance with procedures for EVMS reporting.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Provide Project Controls and EVMS subject matter expertise in the implementation of the Ares Prism Enterprise Project Controls software application on major construction projects
  • Implement EVMS desktop work instructions
  • Coordinate the collaboration of the EVM systems tools for schedule, cost and EVM
  • Support the program team as the subject matter expert on EVM
  • Evaluate compliance with the ANSI/EIA 748 EVMS Guidelines
  • Coordinate with project schedulers for the development and maintenance of the IMS
  • Monthly review and reporting of required Cost Performance Reports
  • Participate in the development and execution of EVMS program baseline, including implementation, maintenance, and performance analysis
  • Assist with planning and execution of the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR)
  • Develop, implement, and administer financial and EVMS procedures and systems designed to provide proactive financial analyses, accurate reporting, and internal control

Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications :
  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related disciplin e
  • 5 + years' experience in ANSI/748 compliant EVM program s
  • US Citizenship or Canadian Citizenship require d
  • Experience in EVMS implementation and certificatio n
  • Experience in evaluating compliance with the ANSI/EIA 748 EVMS Guideline s
  • Must have experience with Ares Prism, Deltek Cobra , or other similar EVMS applications
  • Proficiency with Primavera P 6
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Acces s
  • Strong interpersonal skills, creative solution and problem solving skills
