Job Summary

We have an exciting career role in our established Water team based in Belfast for a Senior Engineer with strong analytical skills and experience in technical delivery of water engineering projects.

You will work alongside our project managers and lead design engineers throughout the project design and delivery cycle, supporting various design stages of water and wastewater utility projects to include carrying out feasibility studies, reference designs, detailed designs and preparation of reports and technical specifications.

As a Senior Engineer within the water team, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Water and wastewater networks and treatment design experience across feasibility, outline, detailed design, construction support
  • Able to take full responsibility for producing and checking engineering reports and designs
  • Ability to coordinate, liaise and engage with clients and key stakeholders
  • Provide mentoring, guidance and technical advice to support and supervise junior staff
  • Experience in managing the technical delivery of water and wastewater engineering projects
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors of Degree in Civil Engineering field
  • Experience working for contractors in a design and build environment
  • Experience working in a common data environment digital using BIM software and 3D design tools
  • Project management experience
  • NEC3 / NEC4 accredited project manager
  • Industry recognised Health and Safety qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently Chartered or working towards Chartered status
