Overview:
- Based in Downtown Houston office, with initial travel to sites in Texas to perform battery O&M. Provided company truck and tools/equipment.
- Ideally have prior experience with utility-scale battery O&M, including detailed technical understanding. Related technical experience also acceptable; training will be provided.
- Schedule, organize, and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on battery O&M sites as required by our contracts. Need to read and be familiar with those contracts.
- Manage third-party contractors performing maintenance.
- Serve as our in-house resource on battery related issues:
- Support business development efforts, including proposals and sales pitches to customers
- Support any due diligence efforts that may come up
- Liaise with other groups as required to complete our contractual scope

Detailed Job Description:
- Maintain records in a computerized system for both planned and unplanned maintenance.
- Track and manage inventory using an Owner's cost software management system.
- Update inventory as parts are consumed and as new parts are received.
- Perform annual physical inventory.
- Make recommendations to Owner regarding inventory stocking levels deemed beneficial to operations.
- Manage parts storage.
- Perform monthly, semi-annual and annual Planned Services on equipment. Document processes and procedures in accordance with manufacturer specifications. All below listed equipment will be visually inspected and tested in accordance with specific manufacturer guidelines to include supporting communication cables, management system, terminal connecters, etc. Inspections will focus on potential damage, abnormalities, blockages, warning indicators, water leakage, sealing strips, etc.

- Replacement of failed equipment where repair is either not possible or deemed not prudent.
- Manage warranty claims regarding failed equipment

- Carry out control of hazardous energy (LOTO)
- Ensure subcontractors comply with safe practices.
- Manage a qualified local contractor for Planned and Unplanned Services on the following equipment. All events to be entered into a services log to include deficiencies and recommended remediation.
