Our Jacobs People and Places Solutions Northwest Division is looking to add a Senior Program Manager for our Fish Passage and Restoration team in the NW US. This leadership position will focus on fish passage and environmental restoration and work closely with our Environmental, Transportation, and Water teams to continue to build our inter-disciplinary team in the NW. The position will report to the NW Environmental Market Leader.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to lead the development and implementation of a regional delivery model working with diverse disciplines in eight western states and the NW Environmental, Transportation, and Water Market Leaders. You'll focus on the planning, design, and inter-disciplinary collaboration for Fish passage, mitigation designs, and restoration projects in the Puget Sound basin and serve as a resource to 8 western states. You'll also serve as the primary contact for structuring and leading our delivery teams to support fish passage and environmental restoration projects. Each day you'll collaborate with the environmental, transportation, and water team(s) to develop technical strategies and procedures for the delivery of projects. Providing project management, leadership, and opportunities to mentor staff will be part of your daily role as well. You'll also prepare market assessments, strategic plans for growth, assist/lead in key hires, prepare scopes of work, conduct quality control reviews, and participate in lead roles in business development including proposal preparation and interviews.


Here's What You'll Need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a focus in Hydraulics and Hydrology (H/H), Environmental Restoration, mitigation design, or related field
• A minimum of 12 years of experience as a senior project/program manager
• Demonstrated experience with quality control and understanding of the implementation of the hydraulic modeling, design standards, regulations, and requirements for fish passage and restoration projects in the Northwest US
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
• Experience managing programs with projects and tasks that require effective project management principles for communication and coordination with multiple disciplines is highly desired
• Experience working with cross market teams in environmental, transportation, and water markets
• Recent fish passage experience in the NW and Western Washington working with local governments and/or WSDOT
• Experience planning and development, project management, staff management, and business development experience in the Western US, with an emphasis in Pacific Northwest
