Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer with a minimum of 2 years environmental/consulting experience, that enjoys technical challenges as well as client, regulatory agency and public interaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance for the investigation and remediation of contaminated sites primarily in the Southeast with the opportunity to support projects across the U.S. The position will include a combination of field oversight and office task management responsibilities.
Field activities may include reconnaissance of project sites, site investigation activities, remedial system construction oversight and operations and maintenance (O&M), leading field teams. Office activities will include assistance with developing project scopes of work and cost estimates, coordinating with subcontractors, conducting analysis and interpretation of investigation data, preparation of remedial investigation reports, and providing support to project managers.
