  • The role will directly support the SPC CFO and partner with the SPC Projects Director and Commercial teams.
  • Partner with Commercial Ops, Sales, on Deal strategies, Market growth and winning strategies.
  • Review critical T&Cs and exercise Delegation of Authority to sign off on final proposals
  • Work closely with the SPC CFO and Commercial/Product leadership on key pricing and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Understand and analyze local implications on deal structuring (inclusive of financing, payments, tax)
  • Identify key contracting risks and escalate issues to the Subject Matter Experts (Product, Tax, Legal, etc)
  • Establish a regular rhythm with Projects Director and Projects teams to drive operational metrics, Projects costing, results and productivity.
  • Drive early engagement customer meetings to develop an understanding of customer's needs, bid evaluation model, and financing strategy for individual commercial opportunities, where applicable
  • Outline and define critical commercial finance requirements and process for: orders booking criteria, rev rec requirements, cash flow/NPV, margin hurdles, etc.
  • Drive Market analysis, pricing strategies with Commercial and Marketing leaders and cost out initiatives.
  • Work with Supply chain, Engineering teams to understand products and drive cost out.
  • Develop enablement materials and train CommOps, Solution Architects, and Sales around cost and value drivers to ensure optimal deal structuring for customers while maximizing profitability
  • Drive Margin review process with Operations and Projects team to ensure accuracy and estimation.
  • Calculate percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting entries for assigned POC projects
  • Reconcile engineering/project management costs to P&L Account/Inventory
  • Drive Projects reviews, completion metrics and Cost out initiatives for Projects, Driving Billing targets and operational targets.
  • Prepare rolling forecast for bookings, revenues, margin, advances and cash flow for assigned projects
  • Reconcile warranty, liquidated damages and penalty provision reserves for assigned projects where applicable.
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports for assigned projects
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for all Projects balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in preparation of ad hoc projections, analysis and scenario planning.
