As a Downstream Account Manager, you will be a critical part of our team, partnering with customers to resolve process and water treatment challenges. You will identify sales opportunities through an understanding of customers needs and requirements. You will have the opportunity to develop your career with a world leader in energy technology.

As a Downstream Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

 

 

  • Building long-term strategic relationships with customers to originate sales opportunities and develop strategies for business growth
  • Partnering with sales and engineering representatives to deliver technical presentations to customers
  • Providing account management to understand customer needs, requirements and potential sales opportunities and managing account budget P&L
  • Identifying and coordinating numerous projects of varying complexity to bring value to our customers
  • Monitoring and maintaining existing programs for customers to provide reporting on performance of applications
  • Collaborating with team members to drive technical sales and innovative solutions that bring value to our customers

 


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

 

 

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree and demonstrable experience in refinery operations or sales or industrial process, water, finished fuels, engineering or service
  • Have a solid understanding of industrial chemical treatment and the sales process
  • Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude and good troubleshooting skills
  • Have experience working in a laboratory setting
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and refinery market conditions
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
