Partner with the best

The Senior Lead Systems Engineer drives the change how we engineer solutions. You have systems engineering responsibility up to product portfolio level. This includes platforming and modularization activities and collaboration across all Waygate Technologies to create NDT multi-modality solutions.

As a Senior Lead Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Defining performance, interface, non-functional requirements and concepts for complex socio€"technical systems (x-ray, CT-metrology systems, product services)
  • Establishing new levels of Systems Engineering in terms of agility, proficiency and overall maturity by improving mindset, skills, methodology, processes and tools across the organization
  • Networking to all Baker Hughes and external partners to leverage Systems Engineering knowledge, best-practices and resources
  • Consulting and mentoring the team of systems engineers in complex projects
  • Discovering talents and mentoring systems engineers in SE Leadership qualification programs
  • Leading the design control process from requirements development and design planning to verification, validation and design transfer

 


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

 

  • Have completed Master studies in Engineering or Science: Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or closely related fields
  • Have Certificates in Systems Engineering, Requirements Engineering and Testing
  • Have experience in the field of high-end industrial products at the forefront of digitization, ideally X-Ray/NDT/Metrology background
  • Have deep experience in at least one design discipline (mechanical, electrical or software development tools and processes)
  • Demonstrate major experience in working in projects with global teams
  • Demonstrate excellent collaboration combined with interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be fluent in English (additional German skills desirable)
  • Have a sense of accountability and ownership
