Our Oilfield Services business provides intelligent, connected technologies to monitor and control our energy extraction assets. Our Digital Team partners with business units and clients to develop software and technical innovation. We create improvements and efficiency through service delivery, remote operations, automation and advanced analytics utilizing machine learning and Ai.

Take ownership for our data strategy implementation

As a Data Management (DM) Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering an integrated Data Management strategy across our organisation. You will maintain and enhance our architecture to promote data consistency, accessibility and governance and partner with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into data services that support them.

As a Data Management Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the technical design and the development of DM solutions to integrate with our various IT systems
  • Leading the engineering team responsible to build and maintain our DM ecosystem
  • Designing, documenting and maintaining data processes, flows and mapping used for analysis and implementation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and to implement new products and operating mechanisms
  • Leading project teams and partnering with stakeholders to deliver flawless projects that make a difference to our organisation
  • Developing training material on utilization of the platform and tools to shape a data driven culture


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Show extensive expertise as an DM Architect or Technical Expert in Enterprise-level platforms and in leading implementations
  • Have a solid understanding of Hadoop, Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), horizontal and vertical scaling
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of data schemas and warehousing and the ability to organize, evaluate and produce complex data
  • Have a substantial understanding of data security and classification and appropriate usage of dimensional data models
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for building trusted relationships and the ability to generate confidence in your stakeholders
  • Show excellent organizational and cross-functional project management skills in a global-matrix environment
  • Be able to quickly understand new systems and show an interest in current and future data-related technologies
  • Demonstrate an ability to communicate professionally at all levels, lead meetings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
