About the opportunity

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will work as part of a small team providing support and advice to the wider Jacobs business and clients. You will have a significant client facing role developing relationships, investigating opportunities and supporting bids. In addition, you will lead and lead the delivery of geotechnical input to projects and will also be required to provide technical guidance and support to less experienced junior engineers and technicians.

There will be opportunities for a wider degree of responsibilities and roles within the Tunnelling and Ground Engineering team aimed at developing your career as a geotechnical specialist. The successful applicant will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.

Qualifications:

Here's What You'll Need:

  • MSc Geotechnical Engineering (or similar)
  • PhD in nuclear related topic (preferable)
  • Practical experience of working on ground engineering projects (design and analysis of Retaining walls, Foundations, Soil Reinforced Earthworks, Slope stability etc.)
  • Experience of working on large infrastructure projects
  • International experience
