You will be primarily responsible for...

Support Bureau Veritas (BV) maintenance management consulting services. Support BV in developing commercial/institutional facility preventative maintenance plans, support Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) implementations, assess/inventory facility operations, and develop facility maintenance operations staffing plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other job related duties may be assigned in conformance with state and federal regulations.
  • This is a client facing position which necessitates effective communication and collaboration with; clients, peers, supervisors, and sales/business development personnel .
  • Perform field assessments collecting equipment details to support CMMS implementations .
  • Direct and manage CMMS software implementation .
  • Supervise, direct, and control the day to day activities of the implementation process.
  • Partner with team to provide feedback that will update the company on customer requirements and satisfy financial goals.
  • Partner with team to plan and implement project plans and timelines. Define project roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide technical advice and direction to make sure all scope of work requirements is met and complete.
  • Work with partners to ensure end users are satisfied with the implementation process.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel .
  • Develop and present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions .
  • Oversee all due diligence functions .
  • Web Based project management .
  • Provide direction and support to the project team .
  • Climb ladders (including vertical ladders up multiple stories) and/or steep roof stairs (for each building assessed, at least once per on-site assessment).
  • Ability to travel, on average, approximately 50% of time to client sites across the U.S. via plane and/or driving as determined based on the project location.
  • Due to the possession of special skills or experience, may be assigned to perform various types of services such as, but not limited to: facility condition assessments, structural, mechanical, civil, or environmental surveys; pre-construction document reviews; construction monitoring; desk reviews; report reviews; or document review. This position may also be assigned to provide training programs.
  • Enhances professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying new and existing legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on necessary action.
  • Protects operations by keeping company information confidential.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients needs.
  • Demonstrates our company's guiding principles in support of the company's strategic goals.
  • Follows all documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions applicable to the position and support of our company's quality standards.
  • Maintains safe and clean work area by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • May be required to work overtime with prior authorization from supervisor.
  • Ability to work ina constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Ability to work from remote location.


Education and/or Experience : Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Preference given to individuals demonstrating experience within the following areas:
  • Five plus years experience with facility maintenance operations
  • Familiarity with evaluating building systems such as but not limited to Elevators and Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Equipment
  • Working knowledge on maintenance management procedures.
  • Experience developing preventative maintenance plans
  • Working knowledge of maintenance and custodial roles as well as production metrics
  • Familiarity/experience implementing popular marketplace CMMS/BMS systems are preferred (Facility Dude, Trirega, Maximo, etc.)
  • Any software implementation experience
  • Technology proficiency. Ability to adapt, learn, and convey information thru digital media
  • Strong scheduling and logistics coordination experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel as well as Internet research.
