Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to join our Architecture/Engineering Group.

Location: This opportunity is based out of our Portland, Maine office with the flexibility to work remotely and occasional requirement to visit the office for team meetings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary contact with Clients
  • Lead, coordinate, and manage teams of architects, engineers, designers, and subconsultants to deliver assigned projects on-time and within budget
  • Coordinate project resourcing with Department Managers
  • Maintain cost awareness by all project personnel throughout all phases of project execution and deliver the profit as-bid
  • Prepare for and participate in periodic Project Reviews with senior management to evaluate and report on project performance and forecasting
  • Collaborate with Wood's other design centers to grow A/E opportunities and develop new business
  • Lead proposal development efforts

Skills / Qualifications

  • Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams on projects greater than $2,000,000
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture
  • Minimum 15 years of engineering experience
  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience
  • Working knowledge of cost and schedule control software (i.e. MS Project and/or Primavera)
