Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Seattle or other Puget Sound offices.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead our existing geotechnical engineering team, perform technical work, manage projects and assist in developing new business. The candidate must be proficient in geotechnical engineering evaluations and developing recommendations. Strong analytical, communication and writing skills are required for preparation of technical design reports. This opportunity offers a wide range of technical and business challenges requiring that the candidate be well-rounded and results-oriented

Skills / Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Masters degree in Civil Engineer or related discipline with a geotechnical emphasis.
  • 10+ years experience leading geotechnical groups/teams on major programs and projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in WA.
