The Nexus Controls Sales Manager will be responsible for generating business opportunities for the Nexus Controls product line. In this single contributor role, you will be accountable for tracking and trending flow sales from O&G and Power generation customers within Mexico and Central America geographic territory. You will also develop a strategy to grow business within this space, including identification of new industries or businesses.
In the role of Nexus Controls Sales Manager, you will:
•Develop sales strategy for the Nexus Controls product lines, with a focus on growing OnCore sales in the O&G and Power generation markets.
•Be responsible for vertical sales growth including strategy development, planning and execution, product / service opportunities identification, and value communication, partnering with marketing and demand generation teams
•Be responsible for the identification and growth of existing accounts through sale of full portfolio of hardware, software and services.
•Lead the commercial strategy for proposals from customers and coordinate its flow to our internal operations team for proposal development.
•Lead / Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to achieve account and region goals
•Lead / Initiate partnerships with other Baker Hughes commercial teams to leverage customer relationships
•Create a value / consultative / outcome selling strategy through understanding of customers process and business model including associated key drivers
•Provide feedback to the product line team on customer wants and needs, new product / service needs, product modifications and help them develop sound business cases
•Participate in the VOC and NPIs as available within the team
•Interpret and understand contractual commitments
•Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) from an accredited college or university
•Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in mentioned markets, preferable selling control/ automation systems or related
•Travel up to 50% of time, as required
•Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Software, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 5 years in direct project sales (not channels)
•Experience with and commitment to use CRM
•Turbomachinery control expertise preferred
