Our Waygate Technologies Team is the leader in Non-Destructive Testing. We ensure safety, quality and productivity to our customers. We help our customers create improvements in their operations, making the impossible visible with our products, services and software. You will be part of an agile team driving state-of-the-art radiography inspection solutions.

Partner with the best

The Systems Engineer has design responsibility to understand customer or integrator's needs and to deliver product quality, reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, regulatory compliance, and cost that will meet customer expectations. Activities include requirements development, traceability and flow down, system architecture, design analysis, FMEA, developing and executing system verification and validation test procedures, and providing support to manufacturing and field issues.

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading the system engineering process from requirements development and design planning to verification, validation and design transfer, field and customer support
  • Defining performance, interface, non-functional requirements for our Firmware/Hardware developments with a multitude of other hardware and software products
  • Supporting planning and execution for product technical design reviews, technical discussions
  • Supporting the investigation, execution and retirement of technical risks as they arise on the program to achieve best optimization in system performance and image quality
  • Driving system architectural trade-off discussions within new product developments by having a full understanding of system architecture and Interfaces


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a Master's Degree in Engineering or Science: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or closely related fields
  • Have proven work experience in industrial engineering, ideally in the field of NDT, X-Ray, metrology
  • Have experience in the use of mechanical or electrical development tools and processes
  • Demonstrate experience in working in projects with global teams
  • Demonstrate excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be fluent in English
  • Have a strong sense of accountability and ownership
