Main Purpose of the role:

To support the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality function in the efficient delivery of the contract,

Key responsibilities:

The health and safety apprenticeship will be a combination of on-the-job learning, with a programme of training and development. Your job would involve:

  • Assist the team in the development, management, implementation of documentation that forms part of our safety management system.
  • Undertaking risk assessments and/ or audits to identify potential risks with the aim of preventing incidents occurring.
  • Undertake and/or assist with the monitoring of and reporting of SHE performance.
  • Tracking that safety and environmental improvements have been made.
  • Preparing, planning and supporting the delivery of EHS awareness and promotional events.
  • Assist the team in the maintenance of contractor records, relating to safety, health and environmental matters.
  • Research safety, health and environmental issues/ best practices and support delivery of regular legal updates.
  • Assist the SHEQ team as required.
