Job Summary:
This role is responsible for managing, proofreading, and testing the engineering reports and manuals. This role will also maintain configuration control of specific key project documents.
Duties:
- Detailed design of marine craft structures
- Generate production info for ship design, installation, and furnishing
- Use knowledge of naval architecture to calculate stability and weight distribution
- Calculate and correct any issue that arise during construction
Qualifications:
- Must have an English language degree or Technical Writing degree
- Must have at least 5 years of experience with technical writing
- Must have knowledge of technical writing related to marine vessels
- Know the process from start to finish
- Willing to travel occasionally
