Job Summary:
As Naval Architect you will be responsible for the direction and content of assigned projects and will support engineering services.
Duties:
- Provide assistance and technical knowledge as required
- Responsible for the specifications and requirements.
- Be able to use ANSYS or NASTRANS a well as GHS software
- Respond to owner comment and issues
- Have experience with dry docks
- Provide Naval Architecture calculations and be responsible for preliminary lay outs and sketches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture
- Shipbuilding and production process experience
- Have experience with maintenance in an engineering environment
