Under direct supervision, create, manage, maintain build environment and configurations for the software development teams; design, develop and maintain installers for various software products using suitable tools and technologies; assist in managing Change Management Systems, including version control, issue tracking; assist in building, maintaining QA environment, demo systems; assist in release management. Creates flowcharts, diagrams, and other documentation to convey a software solution to other developers and engineers. Makes suggestions for problem solutions or software enhancements. May assist in development of user manuals. Works with technical staff to learn and understand problems with software.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain build environment and assist in release management.
  • Develop and maintain installers for various software products.
  • Manage Change Management Systems and internal QA / demo systems.
  • Perform design, code, and test of software based upon requirements.
  • Employ software engineering methods and practices to create artifacts to support the implementation and support of software products.
  • Support the creation of documentation and training material.
  • Prioritize and plan work to accomplish goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and stake holders to help with the builds and installers.
  • Work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Adapt and respond positively and effectively to change, delay, and/or shifting priorities and goals.
  • Support the creation of documentation and training material.
  • Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
  • The ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
  • Off hours availability to work with remote teams. Preferably, work during 2-11 shift.
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within physical constraints of the job.


  • Required: B. E. / B. Tech/ MCA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent discipline
  • Preferred: B.E. / B. Tech in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 5-10+ years related experience
