Mechanical Technician - Exploration & Production Company - Malaysia

Our client, an Exploration & Production company is currently recruiting for a Malaysian National to join them on a permanent basis.


Essential experience:

  • Responsible for routine and breakdown maintenance and pro-active to improve plant, machinery reliability and performance.
  • Understand Piping class and PNID as a reference tools (Vessel, PSV, gasket, bolting identification).
  • Perform PSV removal & testing procedure / requirement, online greasing Calm Buoy PM and floating hose change out.
  • Perform and understanding of bolting procedure.
  • Participate on shaft and pulley alignment to the acceptable limit.
  • Understand in precision measuring tools usage and storage.


Qualifications:

  • Certificate or Diploma Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical experience.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, is desirable.
  • 5 years' experience as a mechanical maintenance technician in a hydrocarbon process plant environment of which at least 5 years will have been on offshore/onshore installations.
