Position Specific Description

The IT Systems Administrator -Directory Services Engineer's role is to support, monitor and maintain Infrastructure Technologies including but not limited to Active Directory and Domain Controller Infrastructure, LDAP, DNS architecture and design, DHCP, Local Printing Services, Terminal Services and third tier workstation support, where appropriate. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading the various tools and equipment while ensuring optimal performance and operations, in support of 24 X 7 business processes. The responsibilities may also include re-architecting the environments as new technologies become available to achieve higher reliability and performance while reducing cost. This individual will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required. They will also identify integration and other interface requirements for all supported products and platforms.

Job Overview
