Automation Engineers are responsible to design, develop, document, test, and commission automation systems within constraints
such as development cost, product quality, product safety, and time. Inthis job, the engineer is expected to work effectively
with other engineering domains, such as mechanical, electrical, and IT, to solve cross domain problems that automate equipment
and/or processes related to the use of sensors, actuators, and IT infrastructure to accomplish a specific task.
Develop and implement sub systems for industrial humanmachine automation systems
Analyze domain problems and identify, adapt, and/or develop technologies from the fields of artificial intelligence, automated
and autonomous systems, and industrial automation to address them
Document and validate automated processes with domain experts
Evaluate and develop probabilistic state estimation techniques that are relevant and applicable to decision making automated
Integrate systems and software considering qualisites such as security, safety, performance, and reliability.
Support senior technical team in the creation of a technical roadmap for advanced technologies stack
Support engineering team in understanding, and oversee correct implementation of chosen technologies
Support, participate and perform technology transfers from technical collaboration projects in areas of planning under
uncertainty, machine learning, probablisitic reasoning, and cognitive systems
Liaise between R&D, research and field operations organizations to promote appropriate decision making technologies and solutions
