About the opportunity:
Our water resources team has a total water management perspective to ensure that the entire water system is managed as a whole providing for a long-term sustainable supply. We undertake integrated modelling approaches that incorporate water and wastewater, using advanced decision- making tools and adaptive planning frameworks to increase resilience. Our service provides all aspects of water resource planning including water resource management plans, programme management, WRZ integrity, options development, demand forecasting, Aquator modelling, leakage strategies and assurance.
• Minimum of Honours Degree in an engineering, science or geography related discipline.
• A proven track record in water demand management and associated activities, and the use of datasets and models to support wider projects.
• Demonstrable experience in data analysis, root cause analysis, leakage reporting and applications such as WaterNet, Netbase and GIS packages.
• Appreciation of systems thinking and systems approach to resilience.
• Strong analytical and report writing skills.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team, developing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and other project team members.
• Driving health and safety through everything we do. Carrying out engineering functions safely and to the appropriate level of completion and quality.
• Familiar with current water industry best practice
• Programming capability or software development applied to the Water industry.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, reporting and performance measures.
